Sun worship is the basis for major religions today, even if it has been corrupted or its foundation has been obscured or lost.  For instance, Jews have their ancient temples constructed to honour the sun and the Zodiac.
Most notable of these temples dedicated to sun worship would be Solomon's Temple, which was standing during the entire reign of Josiah.  Josiah is remembered by Bible students for knocking down idols dedicated to worship of the sun and other gods formerly of the Jewish pantheon.  Josiah claimed to be following the Laws of Moses.  Yet Solomon's Temple, which was built long after the death of Moses and violated many of those laws, was left untouched.  Either the laws of Moses were tampered with after the Temple was built to allow it to stand, or Solomon's Temple was an abomination to the Jewish faith.  For whatever reasons, Josiah allowed the temple in Jerusalem to remain despite its obvious construction and dedication to sun worship.

Paul told many lies and he is a favourite of the Church fathers. His verbose letters pollute the New Testament with such nonsense as found in Romans 13:1-7, which dictates that you must honour and obey all civil authorities and pay all taxes and tribute or you are in rebellion with God. This is egregious fraud.

Paul wrote Romans, Corinthians I and II, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Thessalonians I and II, Timothy I and II, Titus and Philemon. Because of all these corrupted books, many genuine believers of Christ are confused and tormented. But many are too frightened to question as they have been repeatedly told that the bible is the word of God. Clearly, the New Testament is not so much based on the teachings of Jesus as it is on the supposed teaching of Jesus according to the writings of "Saint" Paul.

Today, many churches spend more time elevating "Saint" Paul than they do considering Jesus and what He stood for.

Among one of Paul's worst threats was to dare to say that the physical body of Jesus was resurrected from the dead, or else there was no purpose for people to believe in Christ. Jesus is not of the "God" of the Old Testament, the demon that created biological bodies from Evil matter. Jesus has no reason to resurrect putrid physical matter. Who is Paul to declare that "if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen." I Corinthians 15:13.

Christians honour Jesus, the Son of God, who takes the place of the physical sun.  Even the name EAST-er SUN-day for Christianity gives away its basis.  Thomas Paine noted that: 
[T]he Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun, in which they put a man whom they call Christ, in the place of the Sun, and pay him the same adoration which was originally paid to the Sun.

It should be stressed here that the Magi of Persia were also sun worshipers, which demonstrates that the invention of the story about the visit of the three Magi at the birth of Jesus was added to the account contained in the New Testament.  This addition happened sometime after Constantine made Christianity orthodox and included sun worship in the Christian religion.

In Celtic tradition, the direction east is also very significant.  Druids worshipped the sun; Native Americans place great significance on sun dances; Eastern religions highly respect the sun.  Often, emperors were compared to the rising sun in ancient days of the Eastern world.
Freemasons construct their lodges east and west and the Worshipful Master of the lodge stands in the east because, according to Masonic teachings, as the sun rises in the east, so should the Master stand in the east.  Freemasons make advancement in degrees by seeking more light in Masonry.  This is not to be confused with Divine Light.  Masonic teachings state that there are two lights.  These lights are referred to as the greater and the lesser lights.  The sun is the greater light, while the moon is the lesser.

Mithra of Persia

-- Mithra had his principal festival on what was later to become Easter.
-- His religion had a eucharist or “Lord’s Supper,” at which Mithra said, “He who shall nto eat of my body nor drink of my     blood so that he may be one with me and I with him, shall not be saved.”
-- His annual sacrifice is the Passover of the Magi, a symbolical atonement of pledge of moral and physical     regeneration.     

Furthermore, the Vatican itself is built upon the papacy of Mithra, and the Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version it replaced . . . Virtually all of the elements of the Catholic ritual, from miter to wafer to altar to doxology, are directly taken from earlier Pagan mystery religions.

If such a being as Satan was known to exist, why was the angel with the fiery sword meant to protect the garden of Eden not placed there sooner. What good was it to place such an angel of protection at Eden's gates after the damage had been done, and after Adam and Eve had already fallen from paradise?

And how did Satan, if he existed, come to know evil himself. Must not evil have already existed? Certainly, evil must have been in existence, even as a potential, before Satan chose it as a means to and end. Or does this kind of logic not apply to scripture?

Why would God himself know evil, before man was even created, unless God had already brought evil into the world? In Isaiah 45:7, God says "I create evil." In Amos 3:6, Amos is asked "Shall there be evil in a city and the Lord hath not done it." And in Jeremiah 18:11, we read: "I frame evil against you."
